Judy Tang joined 香港六合彩官网 about a year ago as Controller for the company鈥檚 ancillary businesses (Growth Platforms). As Controller, she oversees the finances of seven business units totaling more than $300 million, identifies opportunities in increasing revenue, profitability and cash flow as well as partners with the company鈥檚 leadership team to lead management control process and compliance. Her top priorities as Controller is to help grow the business while expanding margins and growing the talent on her team.

Judy started her career in the aerospace industry straight out of college. As the only female and minority on her team, she faced many challenges because she worked in a male-dominated environment. However, as years passed, she became more and more confident and rose through the ranks-- all the way up to Controller reporting directly to the Vice President of the company.

鈥淲hen I first started my career, I definitely felt intimidated and afraid to make mistakes or speak up,鈥� said Judy. 鈥淥ver the years and with guidance from my mentors, I no longer see myself as different. I鈥檝e learned that teams can achieve much more when there is diversity amongst its members. We are able to share different viewpoints and enhance creativity.鈥�

Judy believes that it is extremely important to recognize diversity in the security industry because our clients come from all different industries and walks of life.

鈥淭his is why mentorship is so important,鈥� said Judy. 鈥淚 try to mentor young professionals by helping women and minorities become more confident and assertive in their roles.鈥�
